Over this past weekend , Saturday May 11th. DCAF Connections held its Annual Picnic at the Vista’s Park in Summerlin, NV.

Taking place on a beautiful eighty degree summer day. It was an afternoon filled with BBQ, games, water guns , and families all gathering together for a good time. With an attendance of 110 people the picnic was a sure hit.

The Nevada Diabetes Association provided hotdogs and hamburgers while all attendees were encouraged to bring out their favorite dishes to share potluck style. All plates, napkins, and water were graciously donated by the wonderful Neptune Society.  As well as Jasons Deli donated their amazing pasta salads and cases of water for the afternoon.

Certainly the NDA cant thank those enough who volunteered their time setting up, donating for the event, and all those who brought a dish to share. We hope everyone had a great time. Moving forward next month we resume our regularly scheduled DCAF meeting at the Children’s Discovery Museum at 6pm.

Check out some photos from this weekend below and if you have photos from the weekend that you would like to share we would love to see them.
