About Us

The Nevada Diabetes Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in April 1997 by a merger between the Diabetes Educational Center founded in 1980 and the Nevada Children’s Diabetes Association founded in 1996. The organization is an independent diabetes association and is not affiliated with any national diabetes organization.

All funds raised by the NDA are used to provide local programs and services.

Everyone agrees that diabetes is a terrible disease. Everyone hopes for a cure. Until we find a cure what do we do in the meantime for the children & adults affected by this disease?

The NDA/ CDA is committed to make people living with diabetes lives better and help families that are effected by prevention, education and service.
