CampViews & Dexcom Research Study

65-OR: Remote Monitoring of CGM Data at Diabetes Camp Mitigates Hypoglycemia Day and Night Some diabetes camps require campers to relinquish diabetes technology upon arrival. We evaluated the acceptability of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) use and remote monitoring of CGM data at camp. Insulin-treated campers ages 7-18 years were enrolled at a week-long diabetes camp in the U.S. All campers performed regular fingerstick testing, which informed treatment decisions. Insulin Pricing in January 2021

You may have heard about the Presidential transition of Joe Biden and his administration placing a freeze on or reversed a previous Trump Administration Executive Order that lowered the price of insulin. During the Presidential era of Trump,  the former administration in December 2020,  issued a policy ruling stating that health centers that participate in the 340B program must pass on drug cost savings to the patients. The 340B program is a section of the Public Health Service Act. Taking A Swing At Diabetes 2020

Taking A Swing At Diabetes 2020 has happened and we could not ask for a better day with a staggering $52,000 raised to continue to our programs and services with the goal of helping children and people affected by diabetes. The day started off bright and early as registration kicked off at 7:30am and a scheduled tee off time of 8:30am.. and guess what.. for the first time in 4 years we hit it !!! October 2020 Teen Retreat – Reno

Saturday October 31st the NDA-CDA hosted a Teen Retreat on Halloween right in the NDA-CDA Parking lot in Reno, Nv . The day was filled with laughs, dancing and all around great time spent with dia-buddies to end the month. With weather at 85 degrees in OCTOBER (crazy) we could not have asked for a better day spent. Thank you to all who joined us and thank you to Save Mart and Tandem Diabetes Care for helping us put on such an amazing day that staff and more importantly, the campers will remember  !
